Norite-Kinen

Picked up a Wacom tablet a couple days back... now I have to ask myself why I didn't get one sooner and that it's a hell of an investment and a lot of practice to be had on it.

EnoJado and I were also talking about P56 as well, and we've decided to change the format again but to a more monthly strip for quality reasons. We figured it's the best way to really work on it to make it as good as possible. So we'll be writing and drawing like beasts.

Also, does anyone have general advice for drawing with tablets? May as well ask and get feedback from you guys, even though I'm getting used to it I just want to hear it from you guys in regards to that.

Howdo everyone, how are we?

There's gonna be a little change Project FiftySix's updating in that we're working more on a scene by scene delivery rather than one long chapter at a time, it gives Eno and myself more flexibility in writing and delivery in art and story development so we both hope it works out for everyone given the story we have to tell.

Also, I ordered a tablet yesterday so I can properly get into digital art and drawing. I'm moving on with the times and to be honest, I'm really looking forward to getting it. It'll be a fun experiment using a tablet with Photoshop or something. And it beats pencil/paper, much as I'm old school like that

Sup guys? How are we all on 4/20's Easter Sunday?

Been getting back into sketch practicing lately and I've been enjoying it once again, I need to grab a mannequin/manikin (What DO you guys call it by the way?) from my house as a way to help me improve even more so. A lot of practice is on the cards and so is a trip back home to get it.

Also, does anyone know any good reference sites for online mannequins?

Other than that, everything is going well I'd imagine. Though I may pick up a scanner and/or a tablet at some point. Not sure when that'll happen.

It's strange being back properly and submitting, though that said it feels good to be back.

Since I've started working with enojado it's given me renewed confidence like you wouldn't believe. And I can't thank him enough for it.

This is also the start of a transition of sorts, since I'm not getting any younger and becoming much more mature. I've decided to start shedding some remnants of that old college student self, I'm still prone to occasional poetry. But it's moving on with a more mature mindset here now.

Also, I'm gonna thank each and every one of you guys who's happened to favourite the P56 work thus far. It's a strange feeling seeing my notifications blow up like that.

So yeah, I'm back properly.

Man... what a mad weekend...

So there's gaming, beers, a house party and a load of people that know the madness that can be made, and we all got drunk, and I ended up being the first guy to pass out after half a bottle of sake after things went black and I ended up on a pile of clothes in my friend's bedroom.

Then I woke up with the mother of all hangovers, and on edge of throwing up for a few hours before I finally did, So relieved after that happened

And once again, amongst all the sake, absinthe, beer and whatnot... we all had to ask.
"Why is all but the rum gone?"
Note this happened before on my birthday when me and had a good few drinks, and the rum was still there and pretty much untouched

All in all, a mad weekend but totally worth it, but I sure as hell know I ain't going near sake again.
